By the draft treaty, His Majesty's Government will also be empowered to seize Japanesc augeta in Colonial, Trust and Protected Territories, and it is proposed that these assets s ould be entirely at the disposal of the Secretary of state for the Colonies for the benefit of and in consultation with the authorities of the territories with which he is concerned.
A copy of this corr spondenec is accordingly being sent to the Col~nial Offico.
